Scene work includes breaking down the script and on-camera performance & playback with positive, supportive critique, analysis and notes.
Everyone receives a WeTransfer video of daily performances to track their growth. Highly challenging class with students from all over.

Includes in-depth Effective Memory, Day in the Life of Character and other specific exercise work. Class includes alternating weeks of intensive training and on-camera work to apply the process. This is a 4-month, committed, career advancement-oriented showcase class culminating in an online performance of scenes and monologues to an Industry audience of producers, agents, managers and casting directors. Students partner-up for well-rehearsed, choreographed scenes focused on detailed character work and performance. The 3-Dimensional Life of the Character is fully explored to create dynamic and nuanced scene work. Special emphasis on Effective Memory and Day In The Life exercises deepen the performances and impress the invitation-only industry guests. Showcase performance includes fully-produced scenes and monologues with props, wardrobe and make-up. Unique opportunity for students to network and be seen by potential new representation – as well as grow as actors.

This class is a place for kids to build their confidence, listening skills and acting skills through improv, warm-up games and on-camera audition technique. Taught by Youth Department director, Sebrina Purcell, each class begins with relaxation and focusing exercises followed by one-on-one, on-camera work. All scenes are viewed, analyzed and positively critiqued. We mix up the format weekly to keep students fresh and on their toes while providing group camaraderie and support that empowers confidence, self-esteem, teamwork and creativity.
